Richard Holloway (say 1675 – ⊥ 1750-01-10) and Isabella Randall (say 1680 – ⊥ 1732-04-23) were my 7th-great-grandparents, being the parents of Sarah Durman. The relationship is confirmed by Richard’s will, which provides details of his extensive family, including Sarah’s two eldest children, those born by then.
Richard and Isabella’s burials at North Stoneham are both recorded. A 1670 marriage of Edward Holloway and Eleanor Edwards is found in South Stoneham, who are candidates for Richard’s parents. No clue to Isabella’s origins has been found.
Richard and Isabella married 1701-11-16 in Buriton, England.⟮1⟯FreeREG, Ancestry$/Lib They had 13 known children, as found in the parish records of North Stoneham and Richard’s will:
In addition to a grandchild George Cox (son of Sarah), another grandchild Catherine Hollis is named in Richard’s will, whose parent, presumably one of the above, is not specified.
Richard’s will was dated 1749-04-04 and proved 1750-01-19:
