Mary Louise Ryder (née Fleming, 1883-11-09 – 1973-04-15) was my patripaternal great-grandmother and wife of George Ryder, and with him mother of my grandfather Fred. She was the daughter of Herman and Jeannette Fleming.ref ref
She lost her husband in 1927 and outlived him by 46 years, and did not remarry. She also outlived five of her children. She died in Brandon, Vermont aged 89, and is buried there alongside her husband in Pine Hill Cemetery.

Later life
In the 1930 and 1940 censuses she is listed as a servant and housekeeper, respectively, in the home of Lafayette Otis Hathaway (
Her death certificate lists her residence as Eden Park Nursing Home in Rutland, Vermont.ref
