Family
His father Salvatore Alfred/Alfio “Sal” Pacino (1922-02-16 – 2005-01-12) was an immigrant from San Fratello who married five times, with four biological children by the first two:
- Rose Gerard/Gerardi (1918-05-03 – 1962-04-19⟮1⟯Find a Grave memorial for Rose.), married in 1939, was Al’s mother, their only child together. Sal dropped out of school at age 15 to be with Rose, then 20, and they separated and divorced when Al was 2.
- Corinne Salvio (1927-08-05 – 2004-04-02⟮2⟯), married c.1948, mother of Al’s three siblings Josette, Roberta, and Paula. They later divorced.
- Estelle Clare (née Letvin) Gertler (1933-01-09 – 2005-10-14), widow⟮3⟯, married in 1964 in Los Angeles, California, and divorced in 1972⟮4⟯.
- Elizabeth Ann “Betsy” (née Ross) Lokar (1937-10-23 – 1983-12-31), divorcée, married 1973-07-21 in Los Angeles, California, and predeceased him. Sal adopted her daughter Desiree Lokar (→ Desiree Pacino) after her death.
- Katherin Kovin-Pacino (* 1952-02-09), married in 1995⟮5⟯, survived Sal and is still alive as of 2024.
Al has never married, but has had four children by three women, with large time gaps:
- Julie Marie (* 1989-10-16), by Jan M. Tarrant (* 1954-11-25⟮6⟯).
- Anton James (* 2001-01-15), twin, by actress Beverly Heather D’Angelo (* 1951-11-15).
- Olivia Rose (* 2001-01-15), twin.
- Roman (* 2023-06-15), by Noor Fallah Alfallah (* 1993-12-02). Al was 83 and Noor was 29 when he was born.
It appears that Al has no grandchildren as of 2024.
