Baptism of Daniel Riley, son of Michael Riley and Mary Barry (pdf) May 4, 1819 in Bandon.
This is probably our Daniel Riley, since he reported his birthplace as Bandon in 1891 and this is the only Daniel Riley recorded there around the right time.
Daniel had known siblings John (1815) and Catherine (1825).
Death of Ellen (Donovan) Riley December 4, 1886 in Cardiff, Wales.
I'm pretty sure this is her. The name and husband's name match, as does her son's wife Teresa, stated as being with her when she died. Daniel is listed with Ellen in the 1881 census but not 1891, suggesting she died in that decade.
The only discrepancy is Daniel's career is listed as “Mariner”, whereas other records identify him as a tailor. But he may have switched jobs, or this is an error.
